Equity, Diversity & Wellbeing Meeting
Wednesday 19th April, 13:00-14:00 over Zoom.
YVAN invite you to the next meeting of this important working group to explore current issues and mechanisms to enable greater inclusion in the arts.
The impact of the cost of living crisis and lingering effects of Covid-19 on the cultural and creative sectors form a key part of the newly launched TUC (Trades Union Congress) Cultural Manifesto.
Drawn up by the regional TUC’s Creative and Leisure Industries Committee, the manifesto advocates increased public investment in the arts and decent pay and conditions for all who work in the cultural sector. The manifesto also includes policies on equality, the climate emergency, regional inequalities in arts funding, and Brexit. Pete from TUC Yorkshire & Humber will be speaking on this topic, with space for questions and discussion during the meeting.
The meeting is open to all - sign up for Zoom access.
Please read Social Art Network's Safer Spaces Policy. We are operating this policy throughout all meetings.
Captions/transcripts are available to access from the three dots menu in Zoom. This meeting won’t be recorded
